12-Month FTC - Accounts Assistant

Your new company 
Based in Hammersmith, a leading specialist consultancy providing data and analytics solutions to global organisations. Focused on empowering businesses to make better decisions, they offer end-to-end services including strategy, design, and implementation of data-driven systems. With decades of industry experience, they support clients across sectors such as consumer goods, finance, and pharmaceuticals, combining deep technical expertise with a business-focused approach. This business is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 12-month FTC. 

Your new role 

  • Posting journals.
  • Processing invoices and expenses.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • To be responsible for any day-to-day finance queries when other members of the team are unavailable
  • To report and support the financial controller with projects and tasks that they may need for reporting purposes
  • Preparing financial reporting slides for planning meetings.
  • Checking and approving payments to suppliers and expenses
  • Monitoring the bank balances daily.
  • Credit control and liaising with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices



What you'll need to succeed 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal Responsibility and Ownership
  • Planning and organisation
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with SAGE Line 50
  • Strong Excel skills
