Job Title: Order Processing Administrator

Location: Lombard Way, Banbury OX16 4TJ

Hours: 37 hours per week – Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Trust Location: Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust

Role type: Temporary for 6 months with the option of leading to a permanent role

What you’ll be responsible for:

· The post holder’s prime responsibility will be to place orders from customers onto the OPS order processing system such that documentation or an electronic instruction is passed to the warehouse assistants to pick, check, package and ultimately get delivered stock products to OPS customers. The post holder will carry out a wide variety of duties in support of the accurate wholesale / distribution of prescription medicines and other pharmaceutical products.

· To carry out pharmaceutical technical duties in specified areas of the wholesale unit

· under the direction of the Deputy Store Manager(s) and Quality Team to ensure that services are provided in a consistently high and professional manner which are complementary to a well-managed service, at all times ensuring that standards are maintained, particularly with respect to statutory professional and legal requirements

· Undertaking relevant administrative and clerical duties

· Being co-responsible for ensuring accurate receipt of goods received, observing at all times the principles of good stock control

· Providing the final accuracy check for all orders prior to dispatch to customers and feeding back to warehouse assistants / colleagues if errors are noted

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

    You’ll have the following skills/experience:

    · Administration experience (essential)

    · Strong attention to detail

    · NHS experience (desirable)

    · Strong keyboard and typing skills

    · Competent with Microsoft office programmes
