The Role To undertake pharmaceutical technical tasks within a designated area, on a rotational basis, using Standard Operating Procedures laid down by the relevant Senior Pharmacy Technician to maintain a high quality pharmaceutical service to NHS Lanarkshire hospitals.

What we'll need you to bring Education:
Diploma/SQA National Certificate in Pharmacy Services or equivalent to enable registration as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Professional:
Registered pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Other Knowledge:
Undertake revalidation required by General Pharmaceutical Council and maintain a portfolio of personal and professional development.
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have Carry out training on aseptic and cytotoxic drug reconstruction/manipulations
Dispensary checking or aseptic checking qualification
SVQ3

Experience in dispensing discharge, outpatient department and inpatient prescriptions
Experience in providing a ward or department stock top up
Understanding of hospital pharmacy services

Computer skills
Keyboard skills
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to organise and prioritise work
Team player
Participate in weekend and public holiday working
