Masentó have been exclusively engaged by a leading global consulting firm to identify an experienced Senior Principal to join its growing Life Sciences Commercial practice. This role offers the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment, collaborating with top-tier pharmaceutical, biotech, and MedTech clients to drive transformational change.

The firm partners with leading pharmaceutical companies across Europe, supporting large-scale programs in ERP, data & analytics, AI, and cloud transformation. With a strong reputation for innovation and strategic advisory, the Life Sciences practice is expanding rapidly and seeks senior professionals with a passion for delivering high-impact solutions.

As a senior member of the team, the Senior Principal will be responsible for developing client relationships, shaping strategic initiatives, and overseeing major transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead major transformation programs for top pharmaceutical and life sciences companies, delivering measurable business impact.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships.
  • Oversee program governance, leading key forums such as Program Boards and Steering Committees, and ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.
  • Take full accountability for program delivery, including risk management, stakeholder alignment, and execution oversight.
  • Drive the development of new service offerings, expanding the practice’s capabilities in response to market needs.
  • Lead and contribute to business development, including proposals, RFPs/RFIs, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional resources, including internal teams, third-party vendors, and offshore delivery centers, to optimize execution.
  • Mentor and develop consulting talent within the firm, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

    Qualifications & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in the Life Sciences sector (Pharma, MedTech, CDMO, Consumer Health) with a focus on Commercial Business and transformation programs.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs within major pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations.
  • Extensive consulting experience, with the ability to develop long-term strategic partnerships with senior leadership.
  • Expertise in M&A strategy, due diligence, and integration within the Life Sciences industry.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Strong experience in managing cross-functional, global teams, delivering complex programs on time and within budget.
  • Business development expertise, with the ability to identify opportunities, lead sales efforts, and win new business.
  • Superior stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in working with global delivery models that include onshore, nearshore, and offshore resources.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing executive decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as required for client engagements.
