Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for a Manufacturing Black Belt, to join a leading biopharmaceutical company, on a contract basis for 3 months.

Salary:
£24.62 per hour PAYE.

Manufacturing Black Belt Role:

  • To lead the manufacturing site transformation through application of operational excellence principles and practices ensuring elimination of waste and developing value stream flow.
  • To lead and drive Operational Excellence Transformation at functional level through the development and implementation of a sustainable improvement system that enables the Site to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of it's processes.
  • Identify appropriate metrics to monitor enterprise excellence cultural progress on site.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis workshops as required for business critical issues.
  • Promote and utilise tools and techniques to achieve continuous improvement and value creation, such as Lean Six Sigma.

    Your Background:

  • Minimum: BSc in a science or science related discipline.
  • Black belt certified with large experience, Master Black Belt would be a plus.
  • Experienced in using a variety of Lean tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills required to communicate with all levels from shop floor to head of site and across all functions.
  • Experienced in Operational Excellence Delivery, with demonstrated knowledge of Shingo Model of Excellence or similar.
