About the role:

Here at our newly refurbished Middlesbrough practice, we have had an exciting opportunity arise and are looking for a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join our team.

With the added attraction of no OOH and no Sundays, this position can be flexed around what is importance to you, working patterns are mouldable, let it be around childcare, study, certificate time or wellbeing, we acknowledge and respect everyone is an individual, and their needs will vary, whilst all focusing in the common bond of providing the best clinical care we can.

We are ideally looking for a vet to join us on a full-time basis working 4 days a week, with 1:4 Saturday mornings 9am-12.30pm on a rota basis. As a balanced quality of life for colleagues is important the applicant's working pattern is mouldable and if part-time working/shorter days are preferred this can be offered. We are located on Marton Road, Middlesbrough amongst a caring community of pet owners and we strive to be the community vet of choice.

The practice is well established, partner owned now by Kat Goldsbrough MRCVS for 16 years, at Vets for Pets we have full clinical autonomy and enjoy a wide variety of interested medical and surgical cases. You will be joining an established team led by Kat, with support from a practice manager, alongside 3 vets, 5 nurses, 2 student nurses all full supported by 5 client care advisors. Within our vet team we aim to achieve ultimate job satisfaction from carrying out a good mix of consultations, medical work up and surgical cases. We have in house haematology, biochemistry, urinalysis, mircoscopy, ultrasound, tonopen, multiparameter monitoring, dental and standard digital radiology.
