Location: Field-based, UK (with national travel ~80%)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing biotechnology business to recruit a Technical Sales & Service Specialist for their expanding commercial team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and clinical diagnostics who is looking to step into a commercial facing position while still leveraging their technical expertise.

The Role

As Technical Sales & Service Specialist you will:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IHC products within clinical and research laboratories.

Deliver product demonstrations, training, and presentations to customers and partners.

Identify new business opportunities and expand product adoption within existing accounts.

Collaborate closely with technical and commercial teams to communicate customer insights and contribute to product development.

Support regulatory and compliance activities in line with industry standards.

We’re looking for someone with:

Scientific background (BSc in Biomedical Science or related discipline).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical diagnostics or product development, ideally in IHC; or Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in IHC.

Strong communication and relationship building skills, with confidence in presenting and training.

Willingness to travel extensively across the UK (approx. 80%).
