Technical Project Manager | NPI | Oxford | £60k - £68k plus benefits:

MARS Recruitment is proud to have partnered a world leading specialist manufacturer in the search for a Technical Project Manager to lead technical innovation and NPI based projects in a high tech - low volume highly technical complex mechanical systems.

On a day-to-day basis the Technical Project Manager will manage the NPI project process of bespoke products, ensuring these projects are delivered on time, on cost and on quality from cradle to grave. This is an incredibly varied Technical Project Manager role which requires a high level of technical acumen, ideally within cryogenics, magnetics or similar scientific instrumentation.

The successful Technical Project Manager will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant engineering, science or mathematics based degree. You will need to have a keen interest in physics, engineering, science, magnetics or cryogenics. Other key areas of experience and skills:

Experience of and is currently delivering NPI (new product introduction) projects.

Experience in the Project Management or delivery of products, instrumentation, medical devices or high-tech systems.

A technical understanding of mechanical, electronic and electrical components.

Ideally previous experience managing multiple projects and working across a number of departments to ensure that projects are on time and to budget.

Previous experience in a high-tech, low volume manufacturing environment is essential for this role. This role has hybrid working available, 3-4 days in, 1-2 days from home, this all depends on the project requirements.
