You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of expertsmitted to advancing scalable, efficient, and robust vaccine production processes.
Your New RoleAs a Senior Process Development Scientist, you will lead laboratory-based experimentation to optimise manufacturing processes for solid-dose vaccines. You will play a key role in supporting technology transfer to external partners, mentoring junior scientists, and ensuring scientific excellence in process development. This rolebines hands-on lab work with cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership.Main ResponsibilitiesProcess Development & Optimisation:

Design, plan, and execute experiments to develop scalable and efficient manufacturing processes. Support batch manufacturing activities for internal and external projects. Analyse and interpret experimental data, generating protocols and technical reports.

Technology Transfer:Support and participate in technology transfer activities for CDMOs.Work at third-party sites as required to ensure successful process implementation.Scientific Leadership & Mentorship:Guide and mentor junior team members in rigorous scientific practices.Stay current with scientific literature and apply relevant knowledge to development activities.Collaboration &munication:Liaise with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth project execution.Share experimental findings proactively and contribute to cross-functional discussions.Work within a quality system, maintaining traceable and accurate documentation.Adhere to health and safety standards and promote safe laboratory practices.
What You’ll Need to SucceedEducation: in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.Experience:Minimum of 3 years’ lab-based experience in an R&D or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Experience with manufacturing processes such as powder blending, tabletting, and tech transfer is highly desirable.Familiarity with GMP and product quality requirements is advantageous.Skills & Attributes:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effectivemunicator and team collaborator.Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving scientific progress.
