Quantity Surveyor

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable main contractor based in Reading. The business operates across several sectors including pharmaceutical, life sciences and commercial valuing up to £75mil. As a result of a recent project win, they're now looking to expand the commercial team with an additional Quantity Surveyor.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on an upcoming scheme alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will report into the Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

Work alongside the pre-construction team through 2nd stage tenders
Manage sub-contract procurement
Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

Hold a HNC / construction related degree
Have administered JCT and NEC forms of contract
Must have the full right to work in the UK
Must be happy to commute to Reading and sites as required
