What you’ll be doing

• Leading a team of technicians, engineers, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant lab operations
• Managing the maintenance, calibration, and optimisation of key laboratory equipment
• Overseeing budgets, reporting performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for cost savings
• Driving process improvements and collaborating with stakeholders to align priorities
• Ensuring compliance with GxP, safety, and regulatory standards

What we’re looking for

• Background as a laboratory manager or leading laboratory engineer within a pharmaceutical or life science environment
• Proven leadership experience - mentoring, training, and performance management
• Expertise in scientific asset management and project delivery
• Experience in P&L management and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance in a lab setting
