Production Operative (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Introduction

Our client is a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer supplying Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and specialist products to the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking aProduction Operative to join their manufacturing team in Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in a GMP-regulated production environment who are looking to develop their career within pharmaceutical manufacturing. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with strict quality and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Duties of the Role

  • Operating manufacturing equipment and processes in accordance with GMP procedures and production instructions.
  • Preparing, weighing, dispensing, and handling raw materials used in the manufacturing process.
  • Completing batch manufacturing records and production documentation accurately and compliantly.
  • Performing equipment set-up, cleaning, and line clearance activities.
  • Supporting the manufacture of pharmaceutical-grade products to agreed production schedules.
  • Following health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or regulated industrial environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures accurately.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices in a production setting.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as part of the production operation.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, food, chemical, or biotechnology manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with batch manufacturing records and production documentation.
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements and cleanroom practices.
