As the Principal Data Strategy & Analytics Specialist, you will drive analytical excellence and shape advanced data strategies that directly influence evidence generation and clinical decision-making. • Lead Advanced Analytics: Design and execute complex analytical frameworks leveraging multi-modal data sources across real-world data (RWD), clinical trials, and operational domains.

  • Enable Innovation: Act as a thought leader on data access, integration, and interoperability approaches to build a future-ready healthcare data ecosystem.

  • Collaborate Globally: Partner closely with data scientists, data stewards, and external vendors to translate complex business needs into clear, technical data solutions.

  • Advance Data Standards: Contribute directly to enterprise-wide data standardization, metadata harmonization, and data asset definitions to maximize data reuse and accessibility.

Who You Are

You are an analytical thinker and strategic problem-solver who thrives on transforming complex data into actionable medical insights. You bring a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring others in a diverse, global environment.

To be successful in this role, you bring:

  • Advanced Education: A Master’s degree or PhD in Epidemiology, Statistics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.

  • Proven Research Experience: 6+ years of experience conceptualizing and delivering real-world data (RWD) studies or using historical clinical trial data within a research or healthcare setting.

  • Deep Methodological Expertise: A strong foundation in pharmacoepidemiology principles, observational study designs, and advanced methods to control for confounding (such as Propensity Score Matching or Inverse Probability Weighting).

  • Technical & Machine Learning Proficiency: Advanced skills in R or Python, along with experience applying machine learning or artificial intelligence models to complex clinical or prognostic datasets.

  • Strategic Communication & Mentorship: The ability to explain highly complex statistical concepts clearly, translate business objectives into structured analytical frameworks, and act as a supportive and positive influence on peers through active mentoring and upskilling, demonstrating the ability to influence key stakeholders by delivering clear, data-driven narratives that effectively drive decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as CDISC, OMOP, or FHIR.
