Your work will change lives. Including your own.

The Impact You’ll Make

Recursion is a TechBio company using technology and AI to industrialize drug discovery. ClinTech is the team bringing that same ambition into clinical development, building an integrated platform that spans trial planning, site selection, enrollment forecasting, and real-world evidence to run clinical trials faster and smarter.

Reporting to the Associate Director, ClinTech Strategy & Operations, this role sits at the heart of that build. You will work closely with Clinical Development Operations and Decision Science, support delivery of the ClinTech roadmap, and help ensure our technology initiatives stay connected to active clinical programs. You will also support how we communicate ClinTech’s progress to senior leadership and external audiences.

We are looking for someone who is analytically sharp, curious, and energized by working at the intersection of data, technology, and clinical development. This is an opportunity to join a high-visibility team at an exciting stage, where the platform is actively being built and your contributions will have real impact.

In this role, you will:

  • Project manage and track across the ClinTech roadmap: monitor progress, flag blockers, and keep stakeholders informed
  • Work closely with Clinical Development Operations and Decision Science to translate priorities into actionable plans, including querying large datasets, surfacing insights, and turning real-world data into clear recommendations
  • Help build materials that keep leadership informed: status updates, exec summaries, roadmap documentation
  • Contribute to ClinTech vendor assessments, initiative scoping, and build-vs-buy evaluations
  • Support external-facing content and cross-functional forums as needed

The Team You’ll Join

You will join ClinTech, one of the most exciting and high-visibility teams at Recursion. We are a small, high-caliber team dedicated to building a platform that directly accelerates how drugs move from discovery to patients. Our culture is fast-paced and mission-driven, focusing on solving genuinely hard problems at the intersection of data, technology, and clinical development.

The Experience You’ll Need

  • 3–5 years of experience in a high-bar analytical environment: management consulting, BizOps, or strategy at a fast-moving biotech or tech company
  • Strong SQL proficiency: you are comfortable working independently with large, complex datasets
  • Proven project management skills: demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive cross-functional workstreams to completion in a past-paced environment
  • Clear, concise written communication: you can distill a complex situation into a sharp summary
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams
  • A genuine willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-moving environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience with real-world data (claims, EHR, or similar)
  • Python or R
  • Familiarity with LLMs, agentic tooling, or AI-powered workflows
  • Exposure to clinical development operations or regulated environments (i.e.GxP)

Working Location & Compensation:

This is an office-based, hybrid position at ourNew York City office. Employees are expected to work in the office at least 50% of the time.

At Recursion, we believe that every employee should be compensated fairly. Based on the skill and level of experience required for this role, the estimated current annual base range for this role is$136,200 to $211,100. You will also be eligible for an annual bonus and equity compensation, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
