Delivering surgical and medical device development projects

As part of a dedicated heath-tech team, the Engineering Project Lead will take a senior role in the leadership of complex multidisciplinary engineering projects for medical devices and surgical applications. These products will interlace software, hardware, electronics and industrial design to deliver best-in-class innovations to the market.

As Engineering Project Lead, you will be responsible for full product development, from prototyping to manufacture. You’ll act as a subject matter expert for medical device projects, and know how to apply processes within a regulated environment. You’ll work closely with a myriad of stakeholders, building strong relationships and enabling efficient and quick product delivery.

Requirements:

* Master’s / PhD in Engineering, Physics or similar, and demonstrable project experience working within industry in the medical device sector.

* Extensive experience as a project lead on the development of class II medical devices (including prototyping and scaled manufacture). Must have experience with ISO 13485.

* Strong technical understanding and breadth of knowledge across multiple engineering and scientific areas.

* Strong people skills. Will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role requiring multi-stakeholder collaborations.

* Prior experience working in a medical device focused technology consultancy would be highly desirable.

Due to the nature of work, the role is based full time at their offices with some international travel required. On offer is an excellent remunerations package including a wide range of benefits. Relocation expenses are available for qualifying candidates.
