This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory professional with hands-on electrophoresis expertise to play a key role in the manufacture, optimisation and quality of specialist life science products.

The Role
You'll be responsible for the production, optimisation and quality control of electrophoresis products while supporting process improvements within a GMP/GxP-style laboratory environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute production processes for electrophoresis products
  • Manufacture gels, buffers, protein mixtures and related laboratory reagents
  • Perform agarose, PAGE, SDS-PAGE and other electrophoresis techniques
  • Carry out quality control testing and sample preparation
  • Support process optimisation, validation and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and work in accordance with SOPs
  • Assist with inventory, materials management and general laboratory operations
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and laboratory standards
About You
  • Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • Alternatively, Laboratory Technician qualification with relevant industry experience
  • 2-5+ years' hands-on electrophoresis experience
  • Practical experience with agarose gels, PAGE, SDS-PAGE, capillary electrophoresis or similar separation techniques
  • Experience working with laboratory instrumentation and quality systems
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills
  • Comfortable working with SOPs and regulated laboratory procedures
  • Fluent German and English communication skills
