Job Description This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) based in Chadderton, Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Join our dynamic team as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer. In this role, you will design and develop advanced E&I systems, making key contributions to electronic circuits and board layouts for high-performance instrumentation worldwide.
Working under the Engineering Team Leader, you'll collaborate with a diverse team and engage with internal stakeholders to enhance our global product portfolio. Your focus on cutting-edge technologies like solenoids, sensors, and integrated control hardware will directly impact the performance and safety of our high-pressure instrumentation systems.
As a crucial member of our team, you will ensure the continuity and improvement of our product offerings, delivering effective solutions while upholding best practices. We are looking for a proactive and analytical engineer who excels in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and possesses strong communication skills to engage across departments. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience
Solid experience in E&I engineering, ideally within high-pressure or safety-critical systems
Expertise in control circuits and systems, and PCB layout tools
Skilled in CAD and electrical design software
Knowledge of automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI)
Familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, and solenoid technology
Proactive problem-solving with strong fault-finding abilities
Effective communicator and team collaborator across departments
