Walker Cole International is supporting a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in the search for a Global Quality Assurance Officer to join their Corporate Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regulated GMP environment, supporting multiple manufacturing sites and playing a key role in maintaining and continuously improving the company's global Quality Management System.

This position offers broad exposure across Quality Systems, Supplier Quality, Regulatory Compliance and Continuous Improvement, working closely with Quality, Operations and Regulatory teams on a range of business-critical projects. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to move into a wider corporate QA role with excellent long-term development opportunities.

You will be responsible for:
  • Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in line with GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Reviewing and updating controlled quality documentation, including SOPs, policies, specifications and quality records.
  • Managing and supporting Change Controls, CAPAs, supplier notifications, risk assessments and quality investigations.
  • Participating in internal and external audits, regulatory inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting supplier quality activities and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Contributing to Quality Management Review meetings, KPI reporting and ongoing compliance activities.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Previous Quality Assurance experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment.
  • A good understanding of Quality Management Systems, GMP and pharmaceutical quality standards.
  • Experience managing or supporting deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls, audits and controlled documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments.
  • A scientific degree or equivalent experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
