Role:

Client-Side Project & Commissioning Engineer

If you are currently an Engineer or Project Manager looking to transition to client side work this is an great opportunity to get your foot into one of the market leaders in the industry.

Description:

To provide strategic and tactical building services commissioning and project management support to the client for the engineering process of a project primarily on a hyper scale data centre. Focusing on quality in all aspects of commissioning and project management, including: planning, programming, reporting, collaborative working and witnessing etc.

Salary:

£60,000 - £85,000 (DOE) + Package, primarily to be based in London

Responsibilities:

  • To act safely always in compliance with the Company’s health and safety policy andprocedures.

  • To maintain positive relationships with other staff and professional team members,along with your line manager and directors of the business.

  • Seeing that our scope of works is programmed, delivered, and executed on time torequisite levels of detail and quality.

  • To ensure technical compliance and high-quality production of our deliverables.

  • Acting as a key point of client to our client/s contact.

  • Utilising the company’s management systems in achieving the primary tasks in hand.

  • Providing advice in determining commissioning and performance requirements,commissioning strategies, programs, scopes of work and the like.

  • Managing the trade contractors’ obligations to commission and manage the delivery of thespecific services, in association with our scope of works.

  • To assist the development of project specific commissioning management/validationdocuments and procedures.

  • Review and comment on design of services (by others) in association with the specific discipline.

  • Co-ordination, integration, and management of commission/testing.

  • Witness on site testing and report on findings.

  • Regular reporting and meeting attendance, where you are computer literate

    Key Skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience working alongside Google or Microsoft

  • Technical engineering excellence in Mechanical, Electrical or BMS engineering

  • Willingness to learn more

  • Excellent IT, planning, and reporting skills are essential

  • Proactive and problem-solving nature

  • Good communication skills

  • Excellent IT skills

  • Team Player

  • Works well under pressure

  • Good planning and reporting skills

  • Dynamic approach to project build and client requirements

  • Excellent management skills to foresee risk
