CY Partners are currently looking to recruit a Senior Research & Development Chemist to join a growing County Durham based Pharmaceutical CDMO. In this role you will utilise your expert chemical knowledge to deliver synthetic chemistry projects by developing, optimising and scaling new processes, furnishing novel molecules that meet key quality attributes of the customer.
Requirements

  • A PhD in Chemistry with a focus on Chemical Synthesis
  • Extensive prior experience in a similar role
  • Experience of taking projects from early development to proof of concept (mg to Kg development)
  • Knowledge analytical techniques, including NMR spectroscopy, HPLC and GC.
  • Good problem solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior working experience in a GMP environment
