About the role:
Our client is looking to grow their UK branch and has exciting opportunities for a Senior Project Planner to join their team, working on a variety of high-tech building design and construction projects. Project focus would initially be data centres and telecommunications facilities and would grow to include a variety of other facilities including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, airports, or institutional.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead project control processes, consulting with the project management team to ensure client satisfaction and deliver key objectives.
Present detailed schedules and status reports to wider teams, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Utilize project control systems such as Primavera P6, and other tools to deliver best-in-class project solutions.
Provide project control services, including the establishment of systems, planning controls, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting via dashboards.
Manage schedules and earned value management to ensure project timelines and financials are on track.
Build tender schedules for substation projects by interpreting drawings and client information, understanding construction sequences, and collaborating with design teams.
Conduct impact analysis of delays and change events, implementing agreed Compensation Events.
Support risk management processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Deliver leadership and training to team members, resolving complex project control challenges.
Ensure understanding of relevant industry regulations, including CDM, and maintain high compliance standards.Qualifications:
At least 7 years of direct project planning and controls experience.
Proven expertise in project control systems such as Primavera P6 (Expert Level) and Power BI (Professional Level).
Oracle Primavera Cloud experience is highly desirable.
Commercial awareness and the ability to assess the financial impact of site-based activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust with the project team and clients.
