Production & Packaging Technician – 12 month FTC £30 -33k +10% bonus

My Client, an International Medical Solutions business, is hiring several Production & packaging Technicians for their Farnham based team, this will be a 12-month FTC, with usual employee benefits (pension/holiday pay etc) and a 10% completion bonus.

The role will be to join their team and support production and packaging operations to help meet the production schedule efficiently according to cGMP, EHS, and quality standards.

For this role, you’d need to be a quick learner with a good eye for detail (visual checking) who can work alone and be pro-active with your approach to work and also be a good communicator (i.e. if you don't know something or have finished a task and not sure what to do next, then be comfortable enough to speak up and ask).

Principal Responsibilities

· Perform final inspection and packaging of a pharmaceutical product according to procedures and cGMP.

· Perform production support processes including label printing, container preparation, In Process Checks and secondary packing.

· Complete batch manufacturing documentation in a GMP compliant manner to meet the manufacturing schedule.

· To ensure that the processing areas and the activities that take place within it are all compliant with procedures, cGMP and EHS regulations.

· To conduct accurate batch manufacturing data collection activities and ensure such data collection tools are always maintained.

· To document/report all EHS incidents and cGMP events to agreed timelines using the required business systems. To participate in subsequent root cause investigations and perform corrective and preventative activities that may be assigned, on time.

· To carry out material handling duties as dictated by the operation in a safe and appropriate manner

Principal Relationships

Accountable to – Production Senior

Internal – Works closely with peer group in own department and across all functions as required.

Education and Experience

Experience of working in a manufacturing environment that employs a quality system.

A good understanding of cGMP and EHS practices. - Not Essential

Computer literate.

Skills and Attributes

· Due to the requirement to complete inspection processes, an eye test must be completed as part of the induction process.

· Must have good listening and communication skills to follow instructions and guidance.

· Needs to be methodical, organised and show attention to detail.

· Must be able to work as part of a team and demonstrate initiative, when required.

· Must be able to receive and deliver clear instruction, when required.

· Must be able to pass a competency assessment to complete the probation period
