We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Lancaster Farms. HMP Lancaster Farms is a category C Prison located on the outskirts of Lancaster, the site supports around 550 male patients aged 21 plus. Within this role you will be providing clinical screening, medication reviews and running clinics. This role will also require both clinical and managerial leadership for a small team.

Hours

30 hours per week, this can be worked over 4 or 5 days

Pharmacy opening hours are 8am-5pm

Salary

This position is part time working 30 hours per week, you’ll receive an annual salary between £49,848 and £55,941 per annum FTE depending on experience

What you'll be doing

As the Clinical Pharmacist your responsibilities will vary. You will:

Ensure the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service
Provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring a safe and modern medicines management services
Lead a team of Pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Experience

Registered Pharmacist - holding registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Vocational Master’s Degree in Pharmacy including pre-registration training
Relevant post qualification

Although not essential, this would ideally suit an applicant with at least 1 years experience in a hospital setting.
