Scientific Director Medical Communications Make it Matter Are you passionate about science and get a buzz out of making the complex simple? Do you want to help develop the skills of others? We have an exciting vacancy for a Scientific Director for an established publications account working on several approved respiratory products for a leading global pharmaceutical client. With key therapy area knowledge including respiratory disease, your experience writing, developing and reviewing related content within a Healthcare/Medical Communications setting will be a critical success factor. You will be the scientific lead of an existing team and will use your medical communications expertise to work closely with colleagues and clients as a trusted publications professional. The team supports all types of scientific publications, including data manuscripts, review articles, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations. Additionally, you will be responsible for line management, mentorship, and reviewing work of junior team members to ensure the highest standards are met throughout. In our Scientific Directors, we are looking for leaders – people who are passionate about communicating highly scientific content in an accessible and educational setting. You will partner closely with our pharmaceutical clients to provide scientific and strategic input, as well as ensuring the scientific accuracy and highest quality of deliverables. You will be confident in your decision-making abilities and highly knowledgeable about Medical Communications, together with a commitment to quality.
