Position Title: Communication Manager

Position Purpose:
The Communication Manager will be responsible for organising communications and announcements for global town halls, CEO engagements, and large global events. Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
The Lead of GSPV Engagement and Collaboration will play a crucial role in creating and implementing strategies to:

Enhance engagement and collaboration among GSPV employees.
Foster engagement between GSPV and other enterprise-wide functions.
Ensure that key activities promoting engagement and collaboration align with the broader Group and R&D strategy.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Facilitate communication of project updates, milestones, and departmental updates within GSPV.
Develop and maintain tools (templates, guidance) to ensure timely, effective, and targeted communication within GSPV and from GSPV Leadership to internal and external stakeholders.
Plan and implement activities to improve recognition and engagement of GSPV employees (e.g., enhancing use of CTP awards, verbal/written recognition, acknowledgment at town halls).
Plan and implement activities to improve engagement within GSPV employees (e.g., speed networking, town halls, enhanced opportunities for N-3 and beyond to interact with leadership, people-manager offsites and meetings).
Support the planning and delivery of a global event.
Explore and implement opportunities to raise the profile of GSPV through social media (e.g., LinkedIn) and digital tools to enhance communications (both internal and external).
Support the Head of GSPV in planning and delivering the communications plan for all GSPV change management activities (e.g., automation, right-sizing, integrations).
Organize team-building initiatives such as global offsite meetings and engagement activities.Job Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or other relevant fields, or 10+ years of experience in the relevant field.Experience:

10+ years in Communication, Marketing, Event Management, or Public Relations in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Experience working for global companies with a demonstrable understanding of cultural sensitivities.
Proven track record of improving engagement and collaboration in a multinational company.
Experience executing and composing effective communication from the leadership team to employees.
Demonstrated ability to work with organizational leadership and lead global initiatives.
Successfully led global events both face-to-face and virtually.
Developed and implemented new processes and initiatives on a global scale.
Expertise in leveraging social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) for strategic content development and external brand positioning, coupled with strong ability to create and manage internal departmental communications that enhance organizational alignment and employee engagement.Competencies:
